OUR SERVICES
Geotechnical engineering is a specialty branch of civil engineering that deals with the properties and behavior between soil, rock, and man-made materials. We have the capabilities and expertise to obtain the relevant geotech data for your project and translate the data into an effective solution to your geo-problem.

Geohazards are geologic conditions that may cause substantial property damage, damage to the environment, or can cause personal injury or death. Two of the most common hazards in Appalachia include landslides (a.k.a. "slips")Â and flooding. We can help you identify potential geohazards around your project. Remember, it is almost always cheaper to avoid a landslide than to repair one!
Hydraulic and hydrologic engineering is the branch of civil engineering that deals with the control and use of flowing water. We can help with hydrologic and hydraulic design and analysis of culverts, bridges, and waterways.

Remote sensing is the science of obtaining information about objects or areas from a distance, typically by aircraft or satellite. We use unmanned aerial vehicles (a.k.a. drones) for aerial photography, 3D modeling, inspection services, and mapping.
